Meet The Band

Scott Sanders:
Drums, Vocals

Playing drums as early as 1978 with bandmate Jon Gaimon in the Unlimited Band, Scott was fortunate enough to play the Long Island circuit from 1987-1995 when original music ruled the music scene with the band, Vision.  He co-founded the Haks in 2007 and Bound To Cover in 2020 with bandmate Ron Kolber.

Born too late to see the Beatles play live Scott, none the less caught over 150 Grateful Dead shows, and over 50 combined Rolling Stones and Allman Brother shows, making his latest and most focused project to date a very natural next step.

The effects of witnessing the dynamic drumming tandems of both the Dead and the Allman Bros manifests itself in his fierce drum fills and tasty frenzies of backbeat groove bliss.  His soulful lead vocals and tricky “5ths” in the vocal harmonies have become a distinctive feature of the Stone Dead Beatle Bros. sound.

Pat Kiernan:
Lead Vocals

Hailing originally from the Northeast, Patrick is a seasoned vocalist that has fronted many bands such as The Joe Paris Project, POI as well as South Florida’s very own Knucklehead.  It is there where he met Dwain Randall and immediately knew he needed to draft Dwain into SDBB.

With many years of showmanship and spellbinding vocals, Patrick has what it takes to leave crowds wanting more.  He goes deep and gets deep into every song he sings.  Patrick has been influenced by Punk rock, Metal rock and blues.  As a Florida resident for over 25 years, he proudly maintains his South Florida Blues Society membership.

Ron Kolber:
Guitar and Vocals

This well-traveled native Long Islander, has played in bands from Boston to California in the 80’s and from Miami to New York City in the 90’s.  Co-founding The Haks in early 2007 he brings with him to the Stone Dead Beatle Bros over 30 years emulating the rock classics of The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, The Rolling Stones and still today, cites Neil Young as one of his most major guitar influences.

Ron’s authentic familiarity with the music coupled with his awe-inspiring melodic improvisation lead guitar capability are a strong distinguishing aspect of The Stone Dead Beatle Bros. Ron also enjoys bluegrass and is proficient on mandolin and banjo.  But we love him best, playing that killer lead guitar.

Jon Gaimon:
Keyboards

In most bands it is usually the keyboardists that possess the greatest musical knowledge and there is NO exception here.  One of Jon’s predominant influences in the rock world was John Lennon who wrote, “Life is what happens to you when you’re busy making other plans” and so The Stone Dead Beatle Bros are proud to reunite and reintroduce Jon back into the music scene where he belongs, after a great hiatus some affectionately call,  “Making a career and raising a family”.

Jon learned music theory in the late 70’s and co-founded The Unlimited Band with Scott Sanders in 1978. Together they emulated the music of Santana, Bob Dylan, Alvin Lee and others coming out of the Woodstock era.  Both played the heck out of the local LI music scene.  Resharpening his chops and honing his melodic weavings, Jon is ready once again to take the show on the road *once again* and create some beautiful music.

Dwain Randall:
Bass Guitar

This South Florida native has performed in most of the local venues over his 40 year career. From rock to country to blues and beyond, Dwain has covered all genre with local bands like Knucklehead, Fifth Sunday, and Holy Head to name a few.

His Boogie – Woogie walking bass lines keep SDBB’s groove focused right in the pocket where we need to be.

Jason Touvi:
Guitar

Jason Touvi, a seasoned guitarist with over 30 years of experience, brings a wealth of musical expertise to every performance.

Hailing from New York, he has honed his craft as a sound engineer, musician, and professor. Currently residing in South Florida, Jason’s dynamic style and rich musical knowledge captivate audiences wherever he plays, leaving a lasting impression with his soulful performances.

His musical sensibilities make him a good fit for The Stone Dead Beatles Brothers.

Our Mission…

Throughout my years of playing in bands dedicated to the music emanating from the modern era renaissance, nostalgically known as the Turbulent 60s, I’m always asked “What music do you enjoy playing most?”  And without hesitation, the four bands whose names come flying off my tongue are:

THE STONES THE DEAD THE BEATLES AND THE BROTHERS

Acknowledging herein, the tremendous contributions made by bands that engraved their names in the Annals of Rock History,  like The Who, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Chicago, Santana and Steely Dan to name a few, we can also, neither forget or slight the huge iconic footprints and fingerprints left by legends strutting their stuff in the 1950s like Bo Didley, Buddy Holly or the Grandfather of Rock and Roll, Mr. Chuck Berry or the King of Rock and Roll, Mr. Elvis Presley.

However, simply put, our ensemble pledges all of our artistic efforts as we declare OUR MISSION

To revere the original music with humility, and fill our hearts with the spirit and enlightened intent of arguably the FOUR most successful and impactful rock and roll bands in HISTORY.

We hereby pledge to play songs with soul to fill the air and music that moves us brightly from the genius minds of:

  • The Rolling Stones – The Bad Boys of Rock and Roll
  • The Grateful Dead – Creators of the “Jam Band” Genre and Psychedelic Rock
  • The Beatles – The Fab Four featuring the most prolific song writing duo of all time and
  • The Allman Bros – Creators of the “Southern Rock” genre and culture

Come with us on our trip.

WELCOME AND MEET
The Stone Dead Beatle Bros

Acknowledging the Electrons around The Stone Dead Beatle Bros Nucleus

The Stone Dead Beatle Bros hereby acknowledge our electrons for whom we are so tremendously thankful.  With their commitment, work ethic and blessing we can faithfully say,

“And the Band keeps playin’ on”

                                                      – Garcia and Hunter

The Stone Dead Beatle Bros would also like to acknowledge the support and love from our friends, families and spouses as without them we are nowhere.  And to thank kind partners in this wild entertainment industry such as Peter Kelly, Owner of Kelly Bros Irish Pub and Ashlee Decaro, Marketing Mgr of Marina 84 who because of them, and others like them, many local talents get a chance to spread their wings and put smiles on so many faces.  We’d like to thank the publishers of Around Town Magazine, Rick and Ellen Schweitzer for keeping the midnight oil of the local entertainment industry burning brightly.  Lastly, we are so grateful the efforts of our social media friend, Marti Lynn Soroka and graphics designer and artist Marc Roth who always work so hard to creatively blow us away. Contact Us

We believe that if we are totally committed to Our Mission then all will be well with our Clients.

Our commitment to you, our Clients*, is not done haphazardly or in hindsight, and is second to none.  There are very few bands that boast powerful understudies at all positions.  You will NEVER get a call from us saying, “Sorry but the drummer just got sick and we have to cancel the show (party or gig) tomorrow night.” NEVER

Plus, our 150+ year combined experience allows us to put your worries at ease.  Need us to recognize grandpa’s birthday?  Or the CEO’s retiring next week?  Or perhaps rain is coming and the shop keepers or park supervisors need our help with the crowd?  We’ve got your back.  We know our trade and professionalism is Job #1.  Furthermore, SDBB management recognize that sometimes, equipment doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to and so our wisdom dictates action.  We always have redundant sound system, cables and equipment, microphones, etc. etc. readily available and accessible for all uncertainties.

Lastly, our services may not be cheap, but they can be bought.  The secret to keeping a great band playing on, is consistent gigs and consistent good wages.  We are available for private parties, funerals, religious ceremonies and of course municipal festivals and block parties.  For more info about our rates and ways to do business together, please contact us today:
